Sickly

So, I told you all about how I am really unlucky when it comes to getting sick and injuring myself?

Well, that happened last night, kind of.

I became violently ill and panicky around 7pm last night, which was lovely. I don’t like complaining (just kidding), but I have to tell you that I basically sat in my living room for an hour and a half, shaking and crying and coughing. It was like a panic attack meets whooping cough. I don’t even know.

On top of this, I pulled a muscle in my back last week while I was running but I kept going to the gym, like a dumb.

This all culminated into me not going to classes today. I slept until 8, had to take help my mom get her car to the auto-repair shop, and then came home and slept from about 10 to 1. And let me tell you that the only reason I woke up was because the cleaning lady my dad hired for my mom for their anniversary was using the vacuum. I was exhausted, sick, and in an immense amount of pain.

Fortunately, there was something humorous to come of this. I finally dragged myself out of bed around 3 and went downstairs to get some water. Of course, the minute I reach the kitchen, someone decides to start banging on my front door.

In my house, this is the order of events when someone knocks on the door: knock knock, BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK! (That same little innocent looking white furball I posted a picture of last night has a mean bark.)

Most of you might barely flinch when someone is at your door. I am part of that elite force that has a miniature heart attack, falls to the ground, and scuttles to the nearest hiding spot. In this case, it was into my pantry. I sat there, holding my cell phone and a butter knife (really?and then, this magical thing occurred and I fell asleep.

I’m not kidding.

I fell asleep while I was sitting in the pantry, hiding from the potential ax murderer outside my front door.

I woke up and called my mom saying that someone was at the door and they wouldn’t quit knocking, only to realize that that had happened about 30 minutes ago.

So, today has been interesting.

Until the next time,

xx Chloe
